The STP9CF55 infrared thermopile sensor for non-contacet temperature measurement is a thermopile sensor having an output signal voltage directly proportional to the incident infrared (IR) radiation power. Thanks to the
anti-electromagnetic interference design, STP9CF55 is robust for all kinds of application environment.
The STP9CF55 comprising a new type CMOS compatible thermopile sensor chip features good sensitivity, small temperature coefficient of sensitivity as well as high reproducibility and reliability. A high-precision thermistor reference chip is also integrated for ambient temperature compensation.
Sunshine high-sensitivity thermopile sensors are available in TO-46, TO-5 and compact SMD housings. They vary by sensor-area size and housing type. With the range of specially designed sensors. Sunshine provides solutions for thermometry(Isothermal construction), Non-contact measurement(built-in lens) or Gas Monitoring(two narrowband windows, dual-channel output). Our unique ISOthermal sensor concept significantly distinguishes the Sunshine thermopile family by utilizing patented construction to deliver improved performance and measurement accuracy under thermal shock conditions.
Stresses above the absolute maximum ratings may cause damages to the device. Do not expose the detector to aggressive detergents such as Freon, Trichloroethylene, etc. Windows may be cleaned with alcohol and cotton swab. Hand soldering and wave soldering may be applied by a maximum temperature of 260°C for a dwell time less than 10 s. Avoid heat exposure to the top and the window of the detector. Reflow soldering is not recommended.
